Gotta find my way back...

Just as it starts to get sunny. Chilling in your room with the window open...can of diet coke...summer breeze...Jaheim. Does it get any better?

Peace out.

Cherry Chapstick.

Recently there has been a huge influx of girl on girl in pop and R&B. First Katy Perry claimed she kissed girls and liked it, then Gaga started bluffing with her muffin, Rihanna then came along and had some sort of Spanish fling with a lady, and now Nicki Minaj hints constantly at a bisexual orientation during her songs.

This is all very well, and I suppose that anything which further reaffirms bisexuality as perfectly acceptable and cements it as part of our popular culture is a good thing. But, I can't help but wonder why this phenomenon has recently taken off.

If we look to the private lives of all these women, despite the silly rumours, they seem to be living completely straight life styles. I mean, I know Russell Brand is a bit effeminate...but still...

I HOPE this recent bisexual craze is a demonstration of how women aren't afraid to show their fascination for other women. AND, that (unlike most male artists) they have no problem exploring same sex attraction in their songs.

BUT I have a horrible feeling that it may be more to do with publicity, putting on a show for male fans, and helping to get them off.

WHICH, is a shame for women who are truly lesbian and bisexual, and makes a mockery of their sexuality, no?

Peace out.
